Esther is a 45-year resident of North Miami. An attorney, Esther is in practice together with her husband, Michael Blynn, who served as former City Councilmember for 14 years. Their three now-adult children attended North Miami Public Schools.

Esther is not only a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, she is a certified County, Family and Dependency Mediator, and a licensed clinical social worker in the State of Florida.

Esther continues to serve North Miami residents as Vice President of the North Dade Bar Association, “through programs, including the North Dade Middle School Law Day Essay Contest, legal clinics at public programs, including at Law Week at the North Dade Justice Center, as well as on-going mentoring programs at our public schools.”

Esther’s life-long work for the city was awarded with a Proclamation from the Mayor and City Council declaring March 10, 2020 as “Esther T. Blynn Day.”
